Privacy Policy

When you create an account and build your profile, we collect:

• Account credentials (email address, authentication tokens)
• Profile information you provide: name, headline, summary, work history, education, skills, projects, photo
• LinkedIn PDF data when you choose to import it
• Contact details you add (phone, email) — stored encrypted, revealed to employers only with your explicit consent
• Payment records (plan tier, transaction reference via Razorpay — we never store card or UPI data)
• Usage data: page views, feature interactions, login timestamps

• To operate and display your live career profile
• To generate AI-powered career signals and highlights (processed via Anthropic Claude API — no data retained by Anthropic for training)
• To make paid candidates discoverable by employers (only if you turn on “Open to Opportunities”)
• To send transactional emails (account verification, payment receipts, OTPs)
• To improve the platform using anonymised, aggregated usage analytics

We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it with your current employer.

Your data is shared only with:

• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure (EU/US servers)
• Razorpay — payment processing (India-based, RBI-regulated)
• Anthropic — AI processing for career signals (data not retained for model training per Anthropic's API terms)
• Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection
• Employers — only your public profile fields, only when you are discoverable

You have the right to:

• Access — download all your profile data at any time from your dashboard
• Correct — edit any information directly in the CV editor
• Delete — request full account and data deletion by emailing privacy@zenboard.in. We will delete within 30 days.
• Unpublish — make your profile invisible to employers at any time from your dashboard
• Withdraw consent — turn off “Open to Opportunities” at any time

Active profile data is retained while your account exists. If you delete your account, all profile data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax regulations. Anonymised, aggregated analytics data (no personal identifiers) may be retained indefinitely.

We use minimal cookies:

• Authentication cookie — keeps you logged in (session-based, essential)
• Preference cookie — remembers your UI settings (e.g. theme)

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Contact details are encrypted at the field level using AES-256-GCM. Access to production data is restricted to authorised engineers. We conduct periodic security reviews.

Zenboard is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact privacy@zenboard.in.

If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
